New Year's Cheer November SOTM Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our Australasian Blog Hop. We have all been creating with "New Year's Cheer—November Stamp of the MonthStamp set. If you have arrived here from Doris Taylor Creative Inspirtions then you are in the right place. If you landed here another way, please join in by following the link at the end of this post. Follow the links, check out all the amazing ideas and eventually you'll come right back here to where you started.

Today I would like to share with you my project which features the New Year's Cheer—November Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout November 2016 for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75.

I made the following invitation using the New Year's Cheer—November Stamp of the MonthI didn't take any progress photos this time. I made a stand up invitation card that can fit in our CTMH standard 4.25 x 5.5 sized envelopes when flat. I thought guests could have it standing up on their mantle or hall table or something to remind them of when the party is going to be held.

I started with a 9.5 x 4 inch piece of White Daisy Cardstock
. Then I folded it in half and then scored it at 2 inches from the centre on one side and folded that too.

I covered the front of the card/invite with Gold Foil Vellum paper from the Rustic Home Fundamentals paper pack {It was a bit hard to photograph the shiny paper}. The piece was a little long so I cut it 3/4 inches wide stripe and placed it along the bottom section.

I stamped the stipped banner stamp with Black Memento™ Ink Pad and fussy cut it out with my Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors. Then I added a scrap piece of Black CardstockI did the same with the Invitation section with free-hand fussy cutting.

To add the banner I used 3-D Foam Tape so the fold up section could stand up. I stamped the wine/champagne glasses with Black Memento™ Ink Pad and fussy cut them out with my Non-stick Micro-tip ScissorsThen I stuck them on using my Duck® Easy Stick™ Adhesive.

Remember this great stamp set  New Year's Cheer—November Stamp of the Month is only available throughout November from my website or from your Close to My Heart Consultant
