I have been making with this set so so much this month, I've used it for my my online cardmaking club, my online scrapbooking club and for making things with new products = all of these things I can't show you on my blog. The online card and scrapbooking clubs are unique card designs to those clubs only. The new product is coming in January, so I can't let the cat out of the bag yet there either. So I'm struggling with what to show you here.

The best thing about the Basic Fundamentals Bundle of products is that they're available for the life of the annual catalogue. These products are available until the end of July 2018 so we have over 6 months left to get them. Still I wouldn't wait in case they sell out before then end of the catalogue. Being the Basic range, they coordinate well with ANY colour, Any photos, Any accents, any complements and all shades of brown and grey... I LOVE LOVE LOVE this paper.

The first card I'm showing you is made with the grey flower fundamentals paper from the basic fundamentals with the grey linen looking paper and a section of Silver Shimmer Trim cut in half.

The stamp I used was from this months Stamp of the Month A Little Bit of Pun—December Stamp of the Month You are the Sweetest.

I have used the pink Watercolor Pencil to colour lightly the top of the muffin and then the same pencil to colour heavily the cherry. Then I used the Shimmer Brush—Clear to add some sparkle...

The card below was from our last Stamp of the Month Blog Hop using theBasics Fundamental Paper Packet with the purple cardstock and shimmer trim. Also using the watercolour pencils and shimmer brush. The basic fundamental paper was used in the  Through the Year Calendar Kit (available this month only)

The card below is using the light grey linen looking paper as a 4 x 5.25 inch sized piece. Then a white daisy cardstock piece at 3.75 x 5 stamped the You're cute as a Button stamp. I cut these buttons using the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge - I used cricut craftroom to overlap two 2 hole round buttons on top of each other to create 4 button holes. (I couldn't layer the flower button because it wasn't symmetrical). You can't get the Artiste cartridge anymore but I'm sure there are other CTMH cartridges that have buttons :)

After I'd stuck down the buttons with 3-D Foam Tape I decided it needed 4 squares behind the buttons but it was too late to pull them up. The tape is pretty permanent once stuck down... Maybe next card I do I'll add that to it. you could add light pink (bashful) for a baby girl or light blue (glacier) for a baby boy who are usually Cute as a button!! All the part of this card have been added to to my online card club as a bonus card this month, so I can show you and still keep it exclusive for them too. I can't believe how much I've made and how little I can show you. I've made pages, cards, a calendar and more cards, I seriously LOVE this paper pack and it goes so well with the colour of the year 12" × 12" Bashful Cardstock (Especially Bashful Glitter Paper).

Today I would like to share with you my project which features the A Little Bit of Pun—December Stamp of the Month available exclusively throughout December 2017 for $27 or for just $7.50 when you spend $75.

This month there is a special calendar kit available Through the Year Calendar Kit and I made up the kit and then had lots of scraps left over that I decided to use to make my cards with this months Stamp of the Month - the CUTEST stamp set = there are so many options for these stamps and I loved the Mermaid stamp most so after seeing some ideas on Pinterest and around abouts, I decided to make a mermaid scales card.

I used the second smallest thin cut circle and used some green, yellow, pink (Aka Sweet Leaf CardstockLemon Cardstock and Bashful Cardstock) plus Gold Glitter Paper... The circles were exactly in the three-quarters of an inch on each side. I had to cut more than was pictured because I decided to go up higher than I originally planned.

I placed the first three circles touching the sides, the bottom and slightly overlapping each other. Then I cut some in half to do the bottom overlapping and the pink bottom corners were a half cut into quarters. The rest were full circles besides down the sides that were half sized, vertical. The bottom halves were horizontal.

Hint: only put adhesive on the bottom half of the circles to start with - then go back and add glue dots to those that require it after you've finished.
I added the text We MERMAID to be Friends with 3D foam tape. I stamped in
Black Memento™ Ink

The second card I made was using the gem stamp on white cardstock using Black Memento™ Ink. I didn't take any progress photos. After I had stamped I then coloured in with Watercolor Pencils the bottom third of the gemstone and spread the colour around using the Shimmer Brush—Clear. The photo doesn't show it but the gemstone is glittering and shimmering. My birthstone is amethyst so I think I'm partial to purples stones :)

This purple (Pansy Cardstock) is scraps from the Calendar kit also. As is the grey Basics Fundamental Paper Packet leftover from that kit. Added a tiny touch of Silver Shimmer Trim, dovetailed with my Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors and it finished it off nicely.
